About Katrina
Katrina has over 15 years of experience helping healthcare organizations rethink their approach to supply chain management to strengthen their financial performance. She has deep domain expertise in healthcare procurement, contracting and sourcing strategies, as well as a background in change management and Lean Six Sigma methodologies. Katrina focuses on leading cross-functional performance improvement engagements, architecting concept-to-execution strategies for successful implementation and ensuring collaborative relationships with healthcare leadership teams.
Throughout her career, Katrina has led academic medical centers and large health systems through initiatives to overhaul all aspects of their supply chain operations — from technology and pricing to compliance and logistics — helping organizations generate as much as $28 million in annual savings. Most recently, she has served as an implementation partner for Huron's Acute Hospital in a Home offering, which establishes a virtual hospital environment outside the traditional care facility to improve outcomes, lower costs and increase patient satisfaction.
Prior to joining Huron, Katrina was a supply chain business partner at Oregon Health & Science University (OHSU), where she managed the contracts portfolio for the hospital, clinics, school of medicine, and research and information technology groups. Before that, Katrina was a legal assistant at Johnson, Clifton, Larson & Corson, P.C., where she assisted in trial preparation for personal injury and medical malpractice cases.
Katrina is an active member of multiple industry organizations, including the American College of Healthcare Executives (ACHE) and the Healthcare Financial Management Association (HFMA).
