Lisa has more than 20 years of experience working with arts and culture organizations, higher education institutions, and other nonprofits to unlock their fundraising potential to realize sustainable growth. She collaborates with philanthropy teams and institutional leadership to advance strategic goals and accelerate capacity building both in and out of campaigns.

About Lisa

Lisa leverages her strategic and hands-on fundraising expertise to help arts and culture organizations and other nonprofits build and enhance their development programs. Specializing in individual and corporate giving, she excels at crafting impactful strategies that harness the power of teams and volunteer leaders to drive fundraising success.

Throughout her consulting career, Lisa has:

  • Served as the lead consulting adviser for a historic property during the planning phase of a $75 million campaign, assessing campaign readiness and goal feasibility while providing interim campaign management to accelerate the development of fundraising systems, strategies, and frameworks.
  • Collaborated with a regional environmental organization to create a comprehensive change management plan aimed at revitalizing the advancement program and expanding the prospect pipeline.
  • Conducted a campaign readiness study for a music conservatory and provided ongoing counsel to the annual and major gift teams during a leadership and staffing transition, helping the organization exceed its annual goals and successfully launch the leadership phase of its campaign.
  • Directed a membership reinvention project for an art museum, leveraging a pivotal moment in the institution’s history to transition from a transactional model to one that fosters a more meaningful, philanthropically driven donor experience.
  • Provided eight months of personalized coaching and a tailored six-part training curriculum for the major gifts team at a leading liberal arts college, enabling the institution to achieve its most successful fundraising year in recent history and surpass a $100 million campaign milestone ahead of schedule.

Prior to joining Huron, Lisa served as a vice president at GG+A, which was acquired by Huron in 2024. Previously, she held the role of senior director of development at the Music Institute of Chicago. She has also served as president and chief executive officer at The Center for Emerging Visual Artists, director of leadership annual giving at the Philadelphia Museum of Art, director of development for The Clay Studio, and manager of corporate sponsorship for the Guggenheim Museum. Additionally, Lisa spent two years working with the development team at the Hallé Orchestra in Manchester, England, specializing in regional and international corporate partnerships.

Lisa earned a master's degree in arts management and a bachelor's degree in fine art from Carnegie Mellon University. She completed the Designing Leadership program offered by the Arts + Business Council for Greater Philadelphia in partnership with the Wharton School of Business at the University of Pennsylvania.
