André has nearly 20 years of healthcare-focused corporate finance experience, including performance improvement, turnaround and restructuring, and transactions advisory, through various roles in investment banking, management consulting, and healthcare operations. He helps healthcare organizations develop and execute strategies to accelerate value creation for stakeholders.

André has nearly two decades of experience advising healthcare organizations, as well as their investors and creditors, on developing and executing strategies aimed at creating incremental value for stakeholders and optimizing operations, balance sheets, and income statements.
André has broad exposure across the healthcare industry, including life sciences, physician practice management, acute care providers, payers, and healthcare services companies, including private, public, nonprofit, and private equity-owned companies. He helps clients navigate organizational uncertainty and financial difficulty, implement performance improvement initiatives, and position their organizations for successful sales or capital-raising processes.
He has led a wide range of value-driven initiatives across organizations, including corporate strategy development, operational assessments, and performance improvement efforts. He also helps enhance office of the chief financial officer (CFO) capabilities, such as budgeting, long-range forecasting, cash flow management, finance assessments, organizational benchmarking, and key performance indicator (KPI) management reporting.
In transaction advisory and as an investment banker, André executed merger and acquisition (M&A) and financing transactions, including premerger due diligence, valuation, pro forma financials, synergy analysis, postmerger integration, and cost takeout. His experience in corporate turnarounds and restructurings includes secured creditor advisory, unsecured creditors committee advisory, debtor advisory, and executing Section 363 asset sales.
Throughout his career, André has:
- Led teams and projects across more than 75 different types of performance improvement, transaction advisory, and turnaround and restructuring projects, identifying hundreds of millions of cumulative annually recurring EBITDA increases.
- Served as senior vice president of performance management for a high-growth population health value-based care organization with 1,400 employees and more than 150,000 members across 34 states.
- Advised more than $13 billion in healthcare and life sciences M&A and financing across 25 transactions, with experience in all facets of M&A from ideation through execution.
Prior to joining Huron, André held leadership positions at management consulting firms, including Alvarez & Marsal and FTI Consulting; at investment banks, including Bank of America and UBS; and in the industry as senior vice president of performance management at Somatus, a portfolio company of Fidelity, Deerfield, and Wellington Management Company.
André earned a Master of Business Administration from Columbia University Graduate School of Business and a Bachelor of Science in biology and psychology from Tufts University.
