About Caesar
Caesar is a subject matter expert in enterprise performance management (EPM), with over 25 years of experience in the design, development, and implementation of Oracle EPM products, analytics, and finance transformation projects. His extensive expertise spans various industries, including industrials, oil and gas, financial services, retail, and consumer goods. With a robust background in selling and deploying Oracle transformation projects, Caesar has achieved significant results, including customer cost reductions, enhanced internal controls, and improvements in productivity and efficiency.
Across his career, Caesar has:
- Led an $80 million Oracle Cloud transformation project, leveraging expertise in Oracle Cloud enterprise resource planning (ERP) and EPM solutions, process optimization, and organizational design for a diversified healthcare payer-provider with over $20 billion in revenue. This included standardizing and optimizing processes across business units, designing service delivery models, managing vendors, and overseeing change management efforts.
- Led the Oracle EPM Cloud application assessment implementation design for a multibillion-dollar industrial products company. He defined the Oracle Cloud system applications and architecture to support integration with 30 legacy ERP systems. Caesar also designed the applications, master data management, and data integration solution components to support financial, procurement, and manufacturing business processes across hundreds of global business units.
- Led the design, testing, and deployment of a complex ERP and EPM integration for a project in both Mexico and Canada.
Prior to joining Huron, Caesar served as a partner and practice leader in ERP and EPM consulting at IBM. He also held the roles of principal and practice leader at The Hackett Group, managing director of North America consulting at Technolabcorp, and consulting practice director at Oracle. He began his career at Hyperion Solutions, where he worked as a solution architect and later became the EPM practice leader at Oracle Consulting Services following Hyperion’s acquisition in 2007.
Caesar earned a Bachelor of Science in computer information systems with a minor in finance from Colorado State University. He is certified in Oracle Cloud EPM and holds IBM credentials in executive development and blockchain essentials. Caesar is a veteran of the U.S. Army.
Caesar is a member of the Healthcare Financial Management Association (HFMA), the Healthcare Information and Management Systems Society (HIMSS), and the American College of Healthcare Executives (ACHE). He is a board member of Minds Matter Colorado and a member of CASA of Larimer County and the Society of Hispanic Professional Engineers (SHPE).
